Home Partners gives families an unmistakable and straightforward way to homeownership through its Lease with a Right to Purchase Program. This program offers three to five years of inevitable rent with just a one-year financial guarantee.

APPLYING

If you’re interested in owning a home but feel as though you may not currently meet the requirements to qualify for a home loan, OR if renting best suits you at the current moment with a goal of purchasing it within the next three to five years, then Right to Purchase Program is definitely for you! Home Partners doesn’t concentrate solely on your FICO score, instead the whole application package as well as you as a family unit/individual is considered when reviewing the application for the Home Partners program.

​ADVANTAGES

Just like a rental agreement, Home Partners expects you to sign a lease for a year as well as make the required security deposit. However, unlike a standard rental agreements, you will have several different renewal choices all which provide three to five years of inevitable rent. You are also guaranteed to purchase the house at the price first negotiated when the lease was originally signed when you enter the Right to Purchase Agreement, as per the terms of the Agreement. Selecting the home of your choice from all of the available homes in the Home Partners program can be viewed and toured online via their website.​

KEY CONSIDERATIONS

Home Partners purchases homes in certain areas, so you can visit their website to view what homes are available in their programs. We will direct you in finding the perfect home in the perfect community/area in the Home Partners’ program. Once the purchase price of the home you choose to live in is agreed upon, it is entered on your Right to Purchase Agreement. That price is the price in which you may purchase the home as per the terms of the lease agreement regardless if the home is later appraised at a higher or lower value. If you choose to not purchase the home as per the lease agreement, Home Partners may choose to rent or sell the home when your lease agreement ends.

LEASE AGREEMENT

The initial rental agreement is for one year, so your financial commitment is for one year. However, your rental agreement is able to be renewed each year in one year increments for up to five years. You do have the choice to choose not to renew your rental agreement and notify Home Partners of your decision. Your security deposit will be fully refunded as per the lease agreement should you choose to leave the home after the end of a leasing period as long as you are in full compliance of the rental agreement.​

RIGHT TO PURCHASE AGREEMENT

Your Right to Purchase Agreement gives you the right to purchase the home you choose from Home Partners at a fixed price for every year of your lease, as long as you remain in compliance with the lease as well as the Right to Purchase Agreement. Of course you are never under any obligation to purchase the home from Home Partners.
